MEMBER:Can you tell me about the ECT potential of combined boards made with 23# and lighter mediums?

RALPH YOUNG: Thank you for asking last week at the Annual Meeting about the strength of light weight mediums. Attached are three spread sheets which report the results of combining mediums as low as 18# with conventional linerboards. The designed experiments were conducted over several months on corrugators and laminators in different plants. Some of the samples were even evaluated using folding carton testing procedures.  See attachments below.
