MEMBER: While I know there should be many ways to get there, could you suggest a reasonable paper combination to start with to achieve EC29 B flute board?
RALPH YOUNG: Thank you for a good question. Allow me to give you the engineering answer first and then the more practical answer after that.

MEMBER:Can you tell me about the ECT potential of combined boards made with 23# and lighter mediums?

MEMBER: We are running more govt. board orders at small quantities. It is my understanding you can always upgrade.
Because I don't want to stock all these exotic grades of paper I would like to
know what domestic ects or mullens could be upgrades for all grades of govt  board. Specifically V3C W5C V11CB V13CB and V15CB. This information would be  very useful to us. Thank you in advance for your help.   Dave Diroll Sr.

I hope that the embedded chart will help you make the transistion you requested. There are a few things to remember.  You can negotiate an ECT packaging solution directly with your client and do not need anyone else's approval. MEMBER: I have a question for you. Pratt is claiming their linerboard is 100% post consumer recycled paper. While I agree that it is 100% recycled, I have a hard time believing they can make the claim of it being 100% post consumer.
What do you know about this? They are telling customers that their linerboard is

MEMBER: What is the standard/normal board grade combination for 48 ECT single wall? The issue is that we have a new potential customer and his current vendor is telling that customer that they can provide them with a 48 ECT S/W with a board grade comb. of either a 55/33/52 or 52/36/52; I know that you can very well get ECT values of 48 but you are correct there is no 48# ECT that I was aware of either, I just wanted to see what your opinion was and maybe I was not aware of something.
